Description

PCT/IB/314, INVITATION TO REQUEST RECTIFICATION (PCT Rules 91.1(h) and 91.2). This form is used under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) to invite the applicant of an international patent application to request rectification of errors in the application. This form is typically used when errors are detected in the international application after it has been published. Under PCT Rules 91.1(h) and 91.2, the applicant may request rectification of errors in the international application that are of a typographical or clerical nature, or that occurred despite due care having been exercised. The request for rectification must be made in writing and must specify the error to be corrected. Form PCT/IB/314 is used by the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to notify the applicant of the opportunity to request rectification of errors in the international application. The form provides instructions on how to make the request and the deadline for doing so. The purpose of this form is to ensure that the international application is accurate and complete, and that errors are corrected in a timely manner. It is important to note that the request for rectification is subject to review by the International Bureau, and may be denied if it is not considered to be justified. www.FormsWorkflow.com
