Description

PCT/IB/315, NOTIFICATION OF DECISION CONCERNING REQUEST FOR RECTIFICATION (PCT Rule 91.3(a) and (d)). This notification is issued by the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to the applicant of an international patent application when the applicant has requested rectification of an error or omission in the application's description, claims, or drawings. PCT Rule 91.3(a) allows applicants to submit a request for rectification of such errors or omissions within a specified time limit, indicating the nature of the error or omission and how it should be rectified. PCT Rule 91.3(d) requires the receiving Office or the International Bureau to notify the applicant of its decision concerning the request for rectification. PCT/IB/315 specifically relates to the notification of decision issued by the International Bureau regarding a request for rectification made by an applicant under PCT Rule 91.3(a) and (d). The notification will detail whether the request for rectification has been accepted or rejected, and the reasons for the decision. If the authorization of the rectification has been refused in whole or in part, the applicant may request the International Bureau, within two months from the date of the refusal and subject to the payment of a special fee, to publish the request for rectification and the reasons for refusal by this Authority and any further brief comments that may be submitted by the applicant together with the international application. See Rule 91.3(d) and, for the amount of the fee, see the PCT Applicants Guide, Annex B2(IB). www.FormsWorkflow.com
