Description

PCT/IB/320, NOTIFICATION OF DEFECTIVE POWER OF ATTORNEY OR DEFECTIVE REVOCATION OF POWER OF ATTORNEY (PCT Rules 90.4(c) and 90.6(e)). This form is a notification issued by the International Bureau of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) under PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) Rules 90.4(c) and 90.6(e). Under PCT Rule 90.4(c), if the International Bureau determines that a power of attorney or a revocation of a power of attorney is defective, it must notify the applicant of the defect and invite them to remedy it within a specified period of time. PCT Rule 90.6(e) specifies that the notification of the defect must be in writing. The PCT/IB/320 notification would inform the applicant that the International Bureau has determined that the power of attorney or the revocation of power of attorney submitted in connection with their international patent application is defective. The notification would also specify the nature of the defect and the period of time within which the applicant must remedy it. The applicant must then take appropriate steps to remedy the defect, such as submitting a new power of attorney or revocation of power of attorney that meets the requirements of the PCT. If the defect is not remedied within the specified period of time, the International Bureau may take further action, such as refusing to recognize the power of attorney or revocation of power of attorney. www.FormsWorkflow.com
