PCT/RO/151, NOTIFICATION OF TRANSMITTAL OF PURPORTED INTERNATIONAL APPLICATION TO THE INTERNATIONAL BUREAU AS RECEIVING OFFICE AND INVITATION TO PAY FEE (PCT Rule 19.4(a)(i), (ii) and (ii-bis) and Administrative Instructions, Section 333). This form is a notification issued by the International Bureau (IB) in its capacity as a Receiving Office (RO) under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). This notification is issued when the IB receives a document that purports to be an international application but has not been filed with any RO. Under the PCT, an international application must be filed with a RO designated by the applicant. If the IB receives a document that purports to be an international application but has not been filed with any RO, it will issue PCT/RO/151 to the purported applicant, inviting them to pay the required fee and correcting any errors or omissions in the document to bring it into compliance with the PCT.
