Description

PCT/RO/103, INVITATION TO CORRECT THE PURPORTED INTERNATIONAL APPLICATION (PCT Article 11(2)(a) and Rules 20.3, 20.6 and 20.7). This form is used by the receiving office (RO) of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) to notify the applicant of any deficiencies or errors in their international application, which may prevent the application from being considered as an actual international application under the PCT. PCT/RO/103 is issued when the receiving office has reason to believe that the application filed by the applicant may not meet the formal requirements of an international application under the PCT, such as incomplete or missing parts, incorrect or missing fees, or other irregularities. The form refers to specific PCT rules (Article 11(2)(a) and Rules 20.3, 20.6, and 20.7) that govern the formal requirements for international applications under the PCT. The form typically specifies the grounds on which the purported international application is deficient, and provides the applicant with a time limit within which they must correct the deficiencies or errors identified by the receiving office. Failure to comply with the invitation may result in the application being considered as not having been filed, which could have significant implications for the applicant's ability to obtain patent protection. www.FormsWorkflow.com
