PCT/RO/123, NOTIFICATION CONCERNING REPRESENTATION (PCT Rule 90 and Administrative Instructions, Section 328). This form is a notification issued by a receiving office (RO) under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) system. The notification informs the addressee that the RO has received a document containing one of the following: a power of attorney, a revocation of power of attorney, or a renunciation of appointment. The document is related to the representation of the applicant in the PCT application. The second part of the notification states that a copy of the document and the notification itself will be sent to the addressee in its capacity as either the International Searching Authority (ISA) or the International Bureau (IB). If the addressee is the ISA, it means that the document relates to the appointment or revocation of the appointment of the agent or common representative for the international search. If the addressee is the IB, it means that the document relates to a change in the person of the agent or common representative under Rule 92bis.1(a)(ii).
