FORM 13.10 - NOTICE TO EXTEND ADMINISTRATION [R.C. 2109.301, Sup. R. 78(B) and (C)]. This form is used in the Stark County, Ohio Probate Court when the administration of a decedent’s estate cannot be completed within six months. This form notifies the court and interested parties of the reason for the delay and requests an extension. Common reasons for extending administration include the need to file an Ohio estate tax return, an ongoing will contest, a surviving spouse’s election against the will, pending civil litigation, or if the estate is insolvent.
