PCT/RO/130, INVITATION TO REQUEST OMISSION OF INFORMATION FROM INTERNATIONAL PUBLICATION (PCT Rules 48.2(l) and (m)). This form is used by the Receiving Office (RO) of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) to invite the applicant to request the omission of certain information from the international publication of their patent application. Under PCT Rule 48.2(l) and (m), the applicant may request the International Bureau to omit from the international publication any part of the description, claims, or drawings that the applicant considers to be non-essential or that disclose information that might be prejudicial to national security or public order.
