Description

PCT/RO/124, NOTIFICATION OF DEFECTIVE POWER OF ATTORNEY OR DEFECTIVE REVOCATION OF POWER OF ATTORNEY (PCT Rules 90.4(c) and 90.6(e)). This form is a notification form used by a receiving office of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to notify applicants of defective powers of attorney or defective revocations of powers of attorney under PCT Rules 90.4(c) and 90.6(e). When an applicant files an international patent application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), they are required to appoint a representative, such as a patent attorney or agent, to act on their behalf. This appointment is made by submitting a power of attorney document to the receiving office. If the power of attorney document is defective, incomplete, or not properly signed or executed, the receiving office may issue PCT/RO/124 to notify the applicant of the defect and request correction. Similarly, if an applicant wishes to revoke the power of attorney previously appointed, they must also do so by submitting a revocation of power of attorney document to the receiving office. If this document is defective, incomplete, or not properly signed or executed, the receiving office may also issue PCT/RO/124 to notify the applicant of the defect and request correction. www.FormsWorkflow.com
