This form is a notification form used by a receiving office of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to notify applicants of defective powers of attorney or defective revocations of powers of attorney under PCT Rules 90.4(c) and 90.6(e). When an applicant files an international patent application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), they are required to appoint a representative, such as a patent attorney or agent, to act on their behalf.
