PCT/RO/136, NOTIFICATION OF WITHDRAWAL (PCT Administrative Instructions, Section 326). This form is a notification issued by the receiving Office under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) in accordance with PCT Administrative Instructions, Section 326. This notification informs the applicant or agent that the international application has been withdrawn. Under the PCT, an applicant may withdraw their international application at any time before the International Bureau publishes the international application or before the expiration of 30 months from the priority date, whichever is earlier. If the applicant wishes to withdraw their international application, they must submit a written request to the receiving Office. Once the receiving Office receives the request for withdrawal, it will review the request to ensure that it complies with the requirements under the PCT.
