Description

JD-1759 - PETITION FOR JUDGMENT AGAINST JUVENILE/PARENT FOR UNPAID RESTITUTION. This form is used in Wisconsin Circuit Court when restitution ordered in a juvenile case has not been paid. It may be filed by the victim, the victim’s insurer, or a public representative such as the district attorney, corporation counsel, or an authorized agency representative. The petitioner states under oath that the juvenile or custodial parent has failed or is likely to fail to pay the court-ordered restitution, which may have been part of a dispositional order, consent decree, or deferred prosecution agreement. The form allows the court to be petitioned for a hearing and, ultimately, to enter a judgment for the unpaid restitution against the responsible party. The petition must be submitted within one year after the expiration of the underlying order or agreement. §895.035 (2m), Wisconsin Statutes. www.FormsWorkflow.com
