Informal Trial Agreement {DR-905}

DR-905 - INFORMAL TRIAL AGREEMENT. This form is used when parties choose to participate in the informal trial process in a Superior Court case. By signing this form, a party confirms that they voluntarily agree to an informal trial, understand that the Rules of Evidence are relaxed, and acknowledge that each side may present any relevant information they believe is important. Instead of questioning one another directly, both parties respond to questions asked by the judge, with the option to suggest topics the judge should address. Expert witnesses may be questioned, and attorneys may present statements and legal arguments but generally may not examine the parties.
