Description
FINANCIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY. This is a Georgia legal document that allows an individual (the principal) to appoint another person (the agent or attorney-in-fact) to manage financial and property matters on the principal’s behalf. This form can grant broad or limited authority, depending on which powers the principal initials, and may include banking transactions, bill payment, real and personal property transactions, investments, business operations, insurance matters, tax filings, and legal proceedings. The power of attorney may become effective immediately or upon a future event specified by the principal, and it generally remains effective even if the principal becomes incapacitated, unless a guardian is appointed or the document is revoked. Execution requires the principal’s signature and two adult witnesses, and notarization is required if authority over real property is granted. The document also includes an Acceptance of Appointment, outlining the agent’s fiduciary duties and responsibilities. www.FormsWorkflow.com
