PCT/IB/339, NOTIFICATION OF WITHDRAWAL OF DEMAND, ELECTIONS OR SUPPLEMENTARY SEARCH REQUEST (PCT Rules 90bis.1, 90bis.3bis and 90bis.4 and Administrative Instructions, Section 415(b) and (c)). This form is used in the international patent application process under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The PCT allows patent applicants to file a single international patent application, which is then evaluated by a search authority and, optionally, by an examination authority. The PCT also allows applicants to make various requests and elections related to the application. When using PCT/IB/339, the applicant notifies the IB that they are withdrawing one or more of these requests, either before or after the issuance of the international search report (ISR) or written opinion of the international searching authority (WO-ISA).
