The hearing/trial will take approximately hours/ minutes and will address the following issues: 1) The parties have reached an agreement (both parties have signed the Decree of Divorce and this Court requires a hearing before it will enter a Decree of Divorce). (NOTE: submit the Order Setting Hearing if this option is selected); OR 2) Default was entered against Plaintiff OR Defendant and this Court requires a hearing before it will enter a Decree of Divorce. (NOTE: submit the Order Setting Hearing if this option is selected); OR 3) The parties are not able to agree on all of the terms of the divorce and a hearing is needed on the following issues: Allocation of parental responsibilities Child support Property distribution Motion for Other: (NOTE: submit the Order Setting Hearing if this option is selected); OR 4) The parties are not able to agree on any issues and a trial is needed for a Divorce (With Minor Children). (NOTE: submit the Order Setting Divorce Trial and Requiring Pretrial Statements.) 5) Any party requesting the reporting of a particular matter by the official court reporter shall make a request to the appropriate official court reporter as soon as possible, but no later than three (3) working days before the matter is set for hearing. You can provide notice to the court reporter by phone or by submitting a written request.
