SDSC CIV-049 - ORDER FOR PUBLICATION OF SUMMONS/CITATION. This form is used in San Diego Superior Court when a party cannot be personally served despite reasonable diligence. Upon review of a supporting application and declaration, the court may authorize service by publication in a newspaper of general circulation most likely to provide notice to the defendant, respondent, or citee. The order specifies the publication requirements, including publication once a week for four consecutive weeks in accordance with Government Code section 6064.
