Description
28.020 Gifts; Personal Property; Delivery; Generally Actual manual delivery of personal property is not essential to the validity of a gift. Any act that indicates a renunciation of possession by the donor, and the transfer of control to the donee, shall be a constructive delivery. All kinds of personal property that are capable of manual delivery and of which the title, either legal or equitable, can be transferred by delivery may be the subject matter of a valid gift, whether delivery be actual or constructive.
