Description

JD-HM-10 - MOTION FOR JUDGMENT FOR POSSESSION FOR FAILURE TO PLEAD. This form is used in the Connecticut Superior Court Housing Session by landlords to request a default judgment when a tenant fails to file a required pleading in an eviction (summary process) case. This form is filed after the tenant has appeared but has not submitted a timely response to the complaint. It gives the tenant a short period—typically three days—to file a pleading before the court may enter judgment for possession in favor of the landlord. The motion must be filed with the court and delivered to all appearing parties. C.G.S. § 47a-26a; P.B. § 17-30. www.FormsWorkflow.com
