JD-HM-9 - MOTION FOR DEFAULT FOR FAILURE TO APPEAR AND JUDGMENT FOR POSSESSION. This form is used in the Connecticut Superior Court Housing Session by landlords to request a default judgment when a tenant fails to file an appearance in an eviction (summary process) case. This form allows the landlord to ask the court to enter judgment for possession of the premises due to the tenant’s non-response. It includes a required military service affidavit confirming the tenant’s status and certification that the motion has been properly delivered to all parties.
