CVSC9 - REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF CASE ORIGINALLY FILED IN THE SMALL CLAIMS DIVISION. This form is used in the Pima County Justice Courts in Arizona by either the plaintiff or defendant to formally request the transfer of a small claims case to the Civil Division of the Justice Court. Under Arizona Revised Statutes § 22-504, if any party to the case objects to having their matter heard in the Small Claims Division, they may file this request as long as the objection is made at least ten (10) business days before the scheduled hearing. By submitting this form, the objecting party asks that the case be handled under the more formal procedures applicable to civil cases in the Justice Court.
