JD-CV-107 - MOTION TO OPEN JUDGMENT (CIVIL MATTERS OTHER THAN SMALL CLAIMS AND HOUSING MATTERS). This form is used in the Connecticut Superior Court to request that a previously entered civil judgment be reopened. This form applies to civil matters other than small claims and housing cases and allows a party to explain why the judgment should be reconsidered, such as mistake, default, or other valid legal grounds. The motion must include a clear explanation and may require the filer to swear to the contents if the judgment resulted from a default or nonsuit.
