Description

CCDR 0032 - ORDER OF ADJUDICATION OF INDIRECT CIVIL CONTEMPT. This form from the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, is used in domestic relations cases when a party has willfully failed to comply with a prior court order. This order follows a petition and hearing where the court reviews evidence, testimony, and arguments to determine whether the noncompliance was intentional and without sufficient legal justification. If the court finds the party, referred to as the Contemnor, in contempt, it declares them to be in indirect civil contempt of court. The order specifies how the contemnor can “purge” the contempt, such as by paying a cash bond, making required payments through the State Disbursement Unit, or fulfilling other obligations ordered by the court. In some cases, the contemnor may be committed to the Cook County Jail until compliance is achieved, though the court may stay the commitment or allow alternatives such as electronic monitoring. The order also includes provisions for enforcement by the Sheriff and sets a status return date for further review. www.FormsWorkflow.com
