Description

RESPONSE TO A PETITION FOR DIVORCE WITHOUT CHILDREN. This form is used in Coconino County Superior Court by a person who has been served with divorce papers from their spouse and wishes to formally respond. It is intended for cases where the spouses do not have biological or adopted children together and the wife is not pregnant. The respondent—who completes this form—provides personal and marital information, confirms or denies residency requirements, and either agrees or disagrees with the statements made in the original petition for divorce. The respondent may agree to the divorce, request dismissal, or challenge the petition based on reasons such as lack of Arizona residency or the existence of a covenant marriage. The form allows the respondent to address issues such as spousal support, including whether it should be awarded and under what terms, and to present their own proposed division of community and separate property and debts, including real estate, bank accounts, vehicles, retirement accounts, household items, and liabilities. If applicable, the respondent may also request a name change and include any other orders they would like the court to consider. The form concludes with a Certificate of Service, confirming that a copy will be delivered to the opposing party, and must be signed under oath before a notary. www.FormsWorkflow.com
