IC19 - ORDER TO DISMISS CASE FOR WANT OF PROSECUTION. This form is used by the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission to formally dismiss a case for want of prosecution. It applies when the petitioner, after filing the case and receiving proper notice, fails to appear at a scheduled status call or trial date. The dismissal is issued by the arbitrator or commissioner and serves as an official order removing the case from the docket due to the petitioner’s inaction.
