DFPI-EL 302 - APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE TO ESTABLISH A BRANCH OFFICE.This form is an application submitted to the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) by a corporation seeking a license to establish a branch office under the Escrow Law. It is required when an escrow agent, joint control agent, or internet escrow agent wishes to open an additional office location. The application must be accompanied by a filing fee of $425.00 for each office or location AND an investigation fee of $100.00 (Section 17207, Financial Code). The application ensures compliance with California's Financial Code Section 17213.5, which mandates specific financial, managerial, and operational requirements for escrow businesses. The form requires details about the applicant, including the principal office address, existing licensed locations, officers, directors, stockholders, and the proposed branch manager.
