LBF-J1 - ORDER ASSIGNING MATTER TO THE BANKRUPTCY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROGRAM AND APPOINTING RESOLUTION ADVOCATE. This form is issued by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland. It is used in either an adversary proceeding or a contested matter when the parties involved agree to resolve their disputes through the Court’s Bankruptcy Dispute Resolution Program (BDRP). The purpose of this order is to refer the disputed matter to mediation rather than proceeding immediately through litigation. The court designates a Resolution Advocate—either a judge or a non-judge mediator—to facilitate the resolution process.
