Description
JGM403 - CREDITOR’S NOTICE OF OBJECTION AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON EXEMPTION CLAIM Minn. Stat. §§§ 550.143, subd. 7; 551.05, subd. 5; and 571.914, subd. 2. This form is used in Minnesota District Court when a creditor formally objects to a debtor's claim that certain funds or wages are exempt from garnishment, levy, or attachment. It notifies the debtor that a hearing has been scheduled to determine the validity of their exemption claim. The form outlines the date, time, and location of the hearing, and provides space for the creditor to list the specific reasons they believe the exemption claim is invalid. It also instructs the debtor to submit any supporting documents in advance and encourages resolution before the hearing, if possible. Until a court order is issued, the third party (such as a bank or employer) is required to hold the funds in question. www.FormsWorkflow.com
