Description

JD-CV-162 - SMALL CLAIMS MOTION TO ORDER JUDGMENT SATISFIED. This form is used in the Superior Court of Connecticut for small claims cases by the judgment debtor (the party who owes the judgment) to request the court to make a finding that the judgment has been fully paid and satisfied. The form requires the name of the case, the docket number, and the type and address of the court. The judgment debtor must sign the form, print or type their name, and provide the date of signing. The form also includes a section for service delivery, where the document must be served on all parties and counsel of record as required by the Connecticut General Statutes. There is an option to use a certification if the document is served within 180 days of the judgment or on a party who has filed a post-judgment appearance. The form includes an order section where the court can declare that the judgment has been satisfied based on the proof of payment submitted by the judgment debtor. The court's order will specify the date on which the judgment is declared satisfied. The order is signed by the judge or magistrate and includes the date of signing.
