Description

PCT/IPEA/436, NOTIFICATION OF TRANSMITTAL OF DEMAND TO THE INTERNATIONAL BUREAU OR TO THE COMPETENT INTERNATIONAL PRELIMINARY EXAMINING AUTHORITY (PCT Rule 59.3(a) and (f) and Administrative Instructions, Section 601). This form is a notification issued by the International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA) under PCT Rule 59.3(a) and (f) and Administrative Instructions, Section 601. Under PCT Rule 59.3(a), an applicant may file a demand for IPE with the receiving Office (RO). The RO will then transmit the demand to the IB, which will in turn transmit the demand to the competent IPEA. PCT/IPEA/436 is a notification that the IPEA has received the demand for IPE from either the IB or the RO and has commenced the examination process. The notification confirms that the necessary documents and fees for the IPE have been received and that the IPEA has started the examination process. The notification may also provide additional information about the examination process, such as the estimated time for issuing the international preliminary examination report (IPER) and any requirements or deadlines for the applicant to respond to the IPEA's communications. www.FormsWorkflow.com
