Description

23.555 Travel Expense Georgia law allows a deviation when travel expenses related to court-ordered visitation are substantial because of the distance between parents. If you determine that travel expenses related to visitation are substantial, you may allocate such costs by deviation from the presumptive amount of child support, taking into consideration the circumstances of the respective parents as well as which parent moved and the reason for such move. O.C.G.A. §19-6-15(i)(2)(F)
