23.355 Caretaker; Explained When considering the income potential of a party whose work experience is limited due to the caretaker role of the party, you shall consider the following factors: a. if the party acted as a full-time caretaker immediately prior to separation by the married parties or prior to the divorce or annulment of the marriage or dissolution of another relationship in which the party was a full-time caretaker; b, the length of time the party staying at home has remained out of the workforce for this purpose; c. the party's education, training, and ability to work; and whether the party is caring for a child who is four years of age or younger.
