PETITION FOR BAR ADMISSION. This form is used by attorneys seeking admission to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. This form must be completed by attorneys who are members in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia and who wish to be admitted as an attorney, solicitor, and counselor in this federal district. The petition requires disclosure of the applicant’s Georgia Bar number, office and contact information, courts in which the attorney is already admitted, and any prior disciplinary proceedings. By signing, the petitioner certifies familiarity with and agreement to comply with the court’s Local Rules and Standards for Attorney Conduct.
