GAC17-U - PETITION FOR EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT OF GUARDIAN/CONSERVATOR. This is a petition to ask the Court to appoint an emergency Guardian and/or a Conservator for the Respondent. It is based on Minn. Stat. §§ 524.5-311 and 524.5-409, subd. 2. The court may appoint an emergency guardian and/or conservator for up to 60 days. This may be extended once for good cause, but the extension cannot be for more than 60 days. If the Petitioner believes the individual will continue to need a guardian and/or conservator, the Petitioner can file a petition for a general guardianship and/or conservatorship. www.FormsWorkflow.com
