Description
7B - ORDER. This Will County Circuit Court form is used to record and issue the court’s directives on a petition in a civil or family matter. It identifies who appeared (parties, attorneys, or self-represented litigants), notes that the court has jurisdiction, and then sets out the specific rulings and next steps. Depending on the case, the judge may issue or deny a rule to show cause for alleged noncompliance with a prior order, schedule status dates or hearings, require a party to appear in person, issue a citation compelling attendance, or authorize a warrant with a set cash bond if someone failed to appear. The form can also require a party to file an answer by a deadline and to provide a completed financial affidavit with supporting documents such as pay stubs, W-2/1099s, and tax returns. It includes spaces for dates and times of hearings, any warrant review, and is finalized with the judge’s signature and the clerk’s attestation. www.FormsWorkflow.com
