Description
DNC Form 4 Ex A - EXHIBIT A: CONFIDENTIAL DIVISION OF PROPERTY & DEBTS & VALUES. This form is used by divorcing spouses in North Dakota who are filing jointly without children and have reached a complete written agreement on dividing all marital property and debts. This form, filed with the District Court, outlines how assets and liabilities will be divided, ensuring both parties understand and consent to the terms. The document covers several sections, including debts and liabilities, vehicles and watercraft, household goods and furnishings, real estate, retirement accounts, business or farm interests, and other financial assets. Each section requires detailed information such as account numbers, balances, ownership, and current values. Debts must be listed along with the responsible party, while real estate entries must include complete legal descriptions and mortgage details. Retirement plans, including pensions and IRAs, must indicate division methods, and business assets or financial holdings are to be clearly itemized. The form concludes with a summary table showing the total value of assets and debts for each party to confirm an equitable division. Both spouses must sign the form under penalty of perjury in front of a notary public, confirming that the information is true and that they voluntarily agree to the division. If the divorce involves real estate, spouses may also complete the optional Form 4b (Summary Real Estate Disposition Judgment) to transfer property ownership without publicly disclosing private financial information. www.FormsWorkflow.com
