CR-230A - CASH BOND AGREEMENT (DEFENDANT). This form is used by a defendant in the State of Alaska who is posting their own cash bond to ensure compliance with the conditions of their release from custody. The form allows the defendant to specify the amount of cash being deposited as security for either an appearance or bail bond, or a performance bond, and to indicate whether the deposit is full, partial, or unsecured. By signing the form, the defendant acknowledges that the bond will remain in effect until canceled by the court, that the cash may be applied toward fines, judgments, or costs if they are convicted, and that failure to comply with bond conditions may result in forfeiture of the cash to the State of Alaska.
