NOTICE FOR CUSTODY MEDIATION ORIENTATION (Online). This form is issued by the North Carolina District Court as part of the mandatory custody mediation process in family law cases involving child custody and visitation disputes. When a custody case is filed, the court requires both parties to participate in a court-approved mediation orientation to encourage cooperation and provide a less adversarial, more efficient alternative to traditional litigation.
