Local Form CR-23 - ORDER APPROVING PROPERTY BOND AND RELEASE OF DEFENDANT. This form is used by the Superior Court of California, County of Stanislaus, to formally approve the use of real property equity as bail and to authorize the release of a defendant from custody. This order is issued after the court reviews and accepts an Application for Real Property Equity Bond pursuant to California Penal Code §1298. The applicant, typically a property owner associated with the defendant, submits a promissory note and deed of trust pledging real estate as security to ensure the defendant appears at all required court hearings.
