Description
FORM NLRB-502 (RM) - RM PETITION. This form is used by an employer to request a representation election under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). This petition is filed when one or more labor organizations claim to represent employees, or when the employer has a good faith uncertainty about whether a currently recognized union still has majority support among employees. The petition seeks a certification election conducted by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to determine if employees wish to be represented by a union. The employer must provide information on the workforce, bargaining unit, and any existing union representation, along with supporting evidence of uncertainty or a demand for recognition. If a charge alleging illegal union picketing under Section 8(b)(7) is pending, the employer cannot claim uncertainty about union support. If approved, the NLRB conducts an election where employees vote on whether to be represented by a union. www.FormsWorkflow.com
