Description
MFL-147 - ORDER re: REQUEST FOR TELEPHONIC APPEARANCE FOR COURT HEARING – FAMILY LAW. This form is used in the Superior Court of California, County of Mendocino for a party in a family law case to request permission to appear telephonically for a court hearing. The court will review the request and either grant or deny it. If granted, the requesting party must arrange and cover the costs of the telephonic appearance through CourtCall, an independent service provider. If the case involves child custody or visitation, the party must also file a separate request for telephonic participation in mediation (local form MFL-148) for approval by the Family Court Mediator. Approval for a telephonic court hearing does not automatically grant approval for mediation by phone. If denied, the form will include the court’s reasons for rejection. This ensures that all parties comply with court procedures while maintaining access to remote participation when necessary. www.FormsWorkflow.com
