This form is used to obtain the official file record of an abandoned U.S. patent application that has been referenced in, or claims benefit from, a published patent application, issued U.S. patent, or international patent publication. This form allows a member of the public to request access to the abandoned application through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Certified Copy Center (CCC).
