SC-17 - SATISFACTION OF JUDGMENT. This form is used by a judgment creditor to acknowledge that a court judgment has been fully paid or otherwise satisfied. The form requires the creditor to indicate whether the judgment was recorded and, if so, provide the recording district and reference information. It also asks for the judgment debtor’s name exactly as it appears on the recorded judgment. The document must be signed by the creditor or their attorney and includes an acknowledgment section to be completed by a court clerk, notary, or authorized official. After completion, the creditor must serve a copy on all parties, following TrueFiling requirements or using the included Certificate of Service when traditional service is required.
