Redaction Request Transcript

REDACTION REQUEST -- TRANSCRIPT. This form is used in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma to formally request the redaction of personal data identifiers from a filed court transcript. Pursuant to Local Civil Rule 5.2.1 and Local Criminal Rule 49.1.1, a party—either plaintiff or defendant—may use this form to ask the court to remove specific types of sensitive information such as social security numbers, taxpayer ID numbers, dates of birth, minor children's names, financial account numbers, or home addresses. The requester must specify the page and line numbers where the identifiers appear and describe the type of information to be redacted without including the actual data.
