CAO FL 3-2 - FAMILY CASE RESPONSE (NO MINOR CHILDREN). This form is used in Idaho District Court by a respondent who wishes to formally reply to a family law petition—such as for divorce or legal separation—in cases that do not involve minor children. This form allows the respondent to state which parts of the petitioner’s claims they agree with, partially agree with, or deny, by referencing specific paragraph numbers from the original petition. If the respondent lacks sufficient information to admit or deny certain allegations, they may indicate that as well. The form also allows the respondent to request dismissal of the petition and to raise any affirmative defenses, as required under Idaho Rules of Family Law Procedure (I.R.F.L.P. 209(c)).
