ACR 521 - DOCUMENTARY TRANSFER TAX AFFIDAVIT. This is a Riverside County Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder form used to declare payment or claim exemption from Documentary Transfer Tax when recording real property transfers. The affidavit requires the assessor’s parcel number, property address, and the amount of tax due. If claiming an exemption, the filer must identify the applicable legal authority, including specific sections of the California Revenue and Taxation Code (e.g., §§11911, 11921–11930) or Riverside County Ordinance 516. Common exemptions include transfers to revocable trusts, governmental entities, foreclosure-related transfers, dissolution of marriage, gifts, or qualifying leases.
