RI-AP002 - NOTICE OF APPEAL AND RECORD OF ORAL PROCEEDINGS (LIMITED CIVIL – UNLAWFUL DETAINER). This form is used in the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside. This form may only be used to appeal a limited civil jurisdiction unlawful detainer case (with the exception of cases heard at the Southwest Justice Center). If your case was heard at the Southwest Justice Center, you must follow the California Rules of Court – Title 8. You must file this form no later than 30 days after the trial court issued the judgment or order you are appealing (See rule 8.822 of the California Rules of Court for very limited exceptions). If your notice of appeal is late, the court does not have jurisdiction to hear your appeal and it will not be filed. Fill out this form and make a copy of the completed form for your records.
