CACI (Jury Instructions) PICK LIST. These are the filenames of the California Civil Instructions (CACI) as posted on www.formsworkflow.com and available through the Aderant Forms Workflow Toolbar Jury Instructions assembly tool. • The instructions listed below are current through the latest release, which is the 2024 Edition. (The Judicial Council posts a pdf of the full instructions (“As adopted by the Judicial Council November 2023”) at https://www.courts.ca.gov/partners/317.htm.) • The Judicial Council does not label each instruction “current as of xx/xx/20xx,” and so, as co-publishers, neither do we. Per the Judicial Council, dates listed on any given instruction are that instruction’s history: The date first issued and, where applicable, the date(s) it was revised, renumbered, revoked and/or restored. This means almost but not quite all of the instructions’ latest revision dates are before November 2023, and some have not been revised since first issued. • Instructions introduced as new or as revised in the above-listed release are so labeled in this list. N.B.: The Judicial Council regards a material change to an instruction’s Directions for Use as a revision of that instruction, even if the instruction text has not changed. From this edition going forward, if the Directions have the only change(s), the revision date on the instruction will have an asterisk. For such revision, in this list an asterisk has been added (i.e., REVISED*). • Instances where only the Sources and Authority and/or Secondary Sources are corrected/updated are not considered instruction revisions and are not indicated in this list. • A number of titles below are abridged/abbreviated to accommodate digital filename limitations and conventions. Please refer to instruction texts for full titles. • Recently renumbered instructions are marked below as a detail of the listing of the current instruction. Numbers of revoked and renumbered instructions will be marked in this list as such until the Judicial Council decides otherwise, after which the old or revoked numbers may be indicated below as “Reserved for Future Use.” Until that time, each revoked instruction will have in its stead a placeholder file with the instruction number, name, date of revocation and any other relevant information per the Judicial Council.
