You must FIRST Complete a Notice of Intent to File and email or fax form into the Clerk's Office When completed Intent to File form is approved you will receive an ECF login and password. Submit the completed Attorney Admission w/o Personal Appearance form by logging into the CM/ECF system. Click on Civil, AOther Filings, AOther Documents Scroll down the list to Attorney Admission Application You will be prompted to enter a case number Enter Case No. 13-zz-9999 (this is the actual case you file in) Please note that the Case No. will change to current filing year. Upload your saved PDF version of the form ONLY. The system will prompt you for a fee of $176.00 through pay.gov (If you are an attorney working for a federal agency you will be allowed to skip payment.) After the Order of Admission is entered the attorney will receive notification by email of the day you were admitted. In approximately two weeks you will receive a Certificate of Admission via US Mail. Your application will NOT be processed until ALL of the required information is completed on the Application for attorney admission form. Once your Application has been processed and granted the attorney will be admitted to practice in the United States District Court Western District of Tennessee both for the Western Division-Memphis Office and Eastern Division-Jackson Office. If the procedure has been followed the login and password assigned to the attorney will be the login and password for both Divisions. Admission can still be accomplished by Personal Appearance with a Motion in Open Court.
