SCHEDULING ORDER State ______________________ Defense____________________ Assigned to Judge _______________________ Defendant. The following Scheduling Order shall apply in this case unless modified by the Court. _______________ Supplemental Discovery Deadline. The State shall provide counsel for the Defendant with discovery and any supplemental discovery by this date. _______________ Plea Offer Deadline. The State shall inform counsel for the Defendant of any plea offers by this date. _______________ Motions Deadline. The parties shall file with the Court any motions other than standard pretrial motions by this date. Briefs from the moving party are due 10 days prior to the hearing with the reply brief due 5 days prior to the hearing. _______________ Plea/Reset Deadline. Counsel for the Defendant shall notify the Court, counsel for the State, and Court Administration by NOON on this date whether: (1) A plea agreement has been reached. If so, the plea must be scheduled within the next two weeks. (2) The case is to remain on the trial calendar. If so, the parties must inform the Court and Court Administration of the number of days required for trial and whether any motions must be heard before trial. Any plea agreement reached after this time will result in an Open Plea. (3) There is a request for a reset.
