50.200 Prescription; Acquiescence in Line Acquiescence for seven years, by acts or declaration of adjoining land owners, shall establish a dividing line. O.C.G.A. §44-4-6 To establish a line by acquiescence, it must appear that the owners of the property to be affected by the establishment of the line either acted in such a manner for a duration of seven years or made such declaration during the continuance of that period as to show that the line claimed was the true line dividing the properties. Actual possession by the respective owners up to the line may show acquiescence in the line, but such actual possession is not necessary to show acquiescence in the line. Tietjen v.
